Model 405 Motor Block Breaker
The Model 405 Motor Block Breaker breaks engine blocks with or without transmission into sortable pieces without pulverizing the block. A 10" x 52" ejection area is always open to minimize coin size pieces of broken cast. Breaker can be operated manually, automatically or optional radio control. All wear surfaces of breaker are lined with abrasion resistant replaceable plates. A washer for degreasing the cast iron is also available.
The hydraulic unit is powered by a 100hp 230/460 dual voltage electric motor. Across the line or manual reduced voltage starter is furnished. The major hydraulic components are by Vickers. The major electrical components are done by Allen-Bradley. An air type heat exchanger and oil emersion heater are standard equipment. The time cycle of machine is 34 seconds.
